SHE IS TRANS AND SHE HAS NOT TRANSITIONED HER BODY (AND NOT THAT TRANS PEOPLE HAVE TO TRANSITION AT ALL), BUT SHE CLEARLY WISHES TO DO SO. SHE IS NOT A MAN.
Sure, he may be trans, and it might not just be stated, I apologize for that if he truly is trans.
But don't just forget that it makes it NOT yuri (female loving female) when a WOMAN is INTERESTED IN A MAN'S BODY. So, yes. It is indeed straight with extra steps.
I apologize if "he" truly does indeed want to be a woman, and just doesn't feel like it because of only his appearance, and his view of lesbian relationships. I truly do wish he just wants to be a woman, and has an interest in women.
But it doesn't change the fact that it still is straight with extra steps. Any female with a weirdly obsessive interest with a male's body part, does make it straight.
You won't catch me going all gung-ho and wanting to see a man's body, it just feels weird for me.
I personally think this doesn't deserve the "yuri" Tag, BECAUSE NOTHING about this is yuri. Maybe the femboy tag.
He is not a trans woman, he is still a man inside, he still has the "thing" that only men have.
This is called "straight romance with extra unnecessary steps", not yuri.
Edit: after I read the first chapter, I can happily say, this sh*t sucks and deserves to burn to even try to put itself into the yuri tag.
1. He is a MAN. Just because he has a pretty face doesn't make him a WOMAN. He is a MAN, not a WOMAN. Yuri is about TWO GIRLS, not A MAN AND A WOMAN.
2. This doesn't even deserve the gender bender tag, because HE DIDN'T TURN INTO A WOMAN, HE JUST REINCARNATED INTO ANOTHER MAN'S BODY. So there is no gender bending that is happening.
3. This doesn't even deserve the trans tag because again, he is a man, he likes yuri but does not want to be a woman, which defeats the purpose of "wanting to be the gender you're comfortable with".
4. This is not even futanari because (I don't even need to say it again do I? Lol) so NOT yuri.
