I guess because he's unsure about it, it's easier to get him to agree to 4 months with a get out clause (for the sunbaes peace of mind) hoping he falls properly and doesn't want him to go in 4 months. I would guess if he wanted him, Ian would not leave, or would want to take him with him!
That is if this 4 months thing is even true, why move team for just 4/5 months? Seems a bit of a jerk around but I know nothing about sports.
I can't even say that it escalates pretty quickly. Because it doesn't. And there is a strong feeling of frustration and anxiety. What kind of "weight of my feelings" + "who cares, I'll leave in 4 months, let's go to situationship!" is this, CONSIDERING how unhappy your sunbae was with you leaving him THEN. Or is there something I don't understand about your tactics, bro?
