been wanting to read this but i really wanna wait for it to finish bc i DONT want to die from waiting after cliffhangers and stuff. read a bit about the lore from comments in other platforms, and i know this is real stressful (stuff about ines’ past life and whatnot) but how are we doing now? are we almost at the end of the tunnel TT ?

also from what i know, in the earlier chapters it seemed as if ines had a greater love (past lover from her past life) than carcel but i saw from other comments explaining that it was like a complicated thing and that carcel is actually the number 1 greatest truest love? can any1 tell me abt this pls i love the two of them TT esp together TT

    1. We’re not near the end. Maybe by next year summer or so.

    2. The early chapters is Ines romanticizing her past life with the painter. All she had to compare him to is the crown prince and that comparison is like heaven vs hell in terms of experience and personality with each. Nevertheless, readers often ignore the fact that Ines thought she had terrible taste in men because both men were inadequate in some way as her match. I think it was ingenious of the author to make a FOIL of both men to each other. One was the wealthiest with a twisted personality. The other was the poorest with a kind and simple personality. Ines experienced both worlds with them.

Then along comes Carcel. The man whom Ines never really got to know. This time she marries him and despite all her schemes, her heart naturally came to love him during the first six months of their marriage. Keep in mind, unlike the other two men, Carcel is a man she never intended to love. In the end, she gave up her schemes because she realized she didn’t want to live without him. In so doing, she finds out just how great and incomparable Carcel’s love is for her. To be honest, the best portrayal of love in this story is Carcel’s love for Ines and how that love changes Ines, a woman who has suffered far too much already. Absolutely no love can compare to his love for Ines over the timelines.

In the beginning, some readers got stuck on the fact that Ines had a family with the painter (even ignoring the fact that had her royal children never died, she would’ve had four children with the crown prince), but even that will no longer be unique as the story reveals some big surprises. Don’t want to spoil. I’ll just end by saying that despite the fact Ines lived two past lives with two different partners, it’s amazing all the new and first time experiences she has with Carcel to the point that she willingly admits she’s never lived like this before. At the end of all of the love and happiness Carcel gives her, she decides he deserves the best so she wants to give him the best version of herself.

THANK U SO MUCH OMGGGG !! this rlly was the assurance i needed bc i would have been soooo sad if carcel became like a “second-best” after the painter from ines’ past life.

i hope this comic can finish with no problems ueueue TT surely there’s bound to be more angst but i also hope for more happy moments and of course a happy ending for them

The key to this story is that nothing is ever what it seems at first. In the beginning of the story, I saw a lot of readers comment about Carcel not deserving Ines. Ines probably thought so herself. Near the end of the story, Ines thinks she doesn’t deserve Carcel after she realizes everything he has done for her over ALL past timelines, the way he always loved her no matter how much she hurts him, and the way he continues to steadfastly love her even after finding out things she never wanted him to know. You also don’t have to worry about him being ‘second best’. Carcel is Ines’s match and the story bears that out.
