I mean, I think it’s easy for you to say because you’re not in her position? Like she’s been suffering for years, bedridden, wrecked by chemo, knowing fully well her son is suffering because of her. Chemo FUCKS you up, many people just dont survive it, especially as you get older. Yet she had already been battling everyday to survive right? And then she learns that every day she spends in the hospital is another day her son sells his body….I mean? Most people who are in pain continue to live for their loved ones, but if your loved ones end up with more pain because of you, it’s hard to keep living. Her sacrifice was not made because she’s selfish, it was made because it was all she could do for her son.
as someone who has a mom that legit committed suicide it’s a shit thing to do she literally could have told him she was cool with his line of work and told him to leave that hag it was a dumb choice to go that route

Sounds like you’re putting ur personal experiences and ideas on this character. He also was dealing with that hag and working the stripper job because he needed money for her cancer treatment. He doesn’t want to work there, and he doesn’t want to be with that hag. As a reader, it doesn’t seem as easy as you’re making it out to be.
