Agreed. They all bitch and moan about it but still kept reading this so-called manhwa that has 'too much smut' and the MC looks like a 'kid'. If you complain about this manhwa so much and have nothing good to say about it, it's better for you to not say anything and just drop this manhwa completely and quietly because no matter how much you complain it's never going be heard by the author because you're complaining the manhwa on an ILLEGAL site
i get where you’re coming from. i guess i feel that since im also an illegal reader im not really any better than them even if im not complaining about the contents of the series given that none of us really deserve to read these chapters if we’re being real lol (still respect ur opinion though)
respectfully, your argument that people reading illegally shouldn’t complain about the reading experience can also be applied to you. when you pay to read a series, you’re not just paying for access to the chapters, but also for a smooth reading platform (no ads, no public comment section, etc). so, someone could argue that if you don’t want to see people complaining in the comments, you should read legally where random people can’t comment whatever they want. at the end of the day, the people you’re upset with (those complaining about the contents of the uploads) and you (complaining about the comments) are both complaining about not having their ideal reading experience despite reading illegally. imo since we’re all reading illegally none of us have room to judge/police how others interact with the content on here since we’re all morally in the wrong if we’re being honest with ourselves
Since you're being respectful about it yeah you're absolutely right too that we're all reading this illegally and have no room to judge each other on how we interact. It's just that I'm very sick and tired seeing the same comment over and over AND OVER AND OVER again that is so fucking stupid to see. I'm mad that genuine comments about the manhwa and the latest chapters are getting drowned by these bitching and moaning about stupid shit and ruining the flow of genuine comments and just filled with trivial complains in the comment section. If they're so bothered by the fanart they should just dm the uploader privately to change it
yeah i definitely get where you’re coming from, i also think the comments get repetitive. i will say in regards to the cover art, the uploader def knows that ppl don’t like it since ppl have been regularly commenting about it for ages, so imo i don’t think that dming them would do anything to change their mind since if they cared abt other people’s opinions they would’ve changed it already. i think people know this, so they’re commenting publicly mainly out of frustration. obviously the uploader isn’t obligated to change it, but insisting on keeping it despite so many people making it very clear that it makes them uncomfortable is just kinda a dick move and creating a completely unnecessary problem. i’d also rlly prefer if people didn’t feel the need to bring it up, but at this point it feels like the uploader is doing it on purpose to piss people off and get them to comment abt it, so imo the uploader is more to blame for the problem than the commenters
You know what? Yeah when I I think about it more the problem is the uploader using that fuckass fanart that cause the constant uproar of complains on the comment section. Personally idrgaf about the fanart since I prioritize the manhwa over anything trivial like that but I can see why people are bothered by that. maybe this is a hot take but i don’t rlly understand ppl complaining about other ppl voicing negative opinions in the comments? imo the entire point of a comment section is to be a place where people can share whatever their thoughts on the upload are regardless of if they’re negative or positive, so when i go to any comment section i always expect to see stuff that i disagree with or find annoying. for instance, i personally disagree with the comments saying the mc looks too much like a kid (imo it’s just a combination of the author’s art style and the mc just being a person who looks younger than his age), but im not gonna tell those people to not comment since they’re just as entitled to share their opinions as i am (even if i think their opinion is stupid lol). i just find it so strange that in this particular comment section there are so many people complaining about other people complaining (to the point that i’m seeing more of their comments than those from the ppl they’re complaining abt which is super hypocritical if u ask me). ig some people see others leaving negative comments as them being ungrateful despite reading illegally, but imo those comments are more so people just wanting to voice their thoughts and see if other people agree with them, not them thinking that the authors/uploaders are obligated to change what they’re doing. plus, a lot of the complaints i’ve seen are pretty fair opinions to have (ex. the smut scenes feeling repetitive, the disturbing cover images). i can understand finding the comments repetitive, but as long and these things keep happening people are naturally going to keep talking about them, and by leaving repetitive comments complaining about these ppl ur just doing the same thing that they are. idk i just don’t get why someone would complain about an expected feature of the comments section instead of just… not reading the comments?? (or maybe i’m the weird one, idk lol)
tldr: why go to a public comment section if you don’t want to see opinions you dislike?
