As I remember it, I think the uke thought that the seme would not be interested in him if they were in a straightforward kinda relationship, just that he accepted that the seme is freaky and he needs to be interesting and casual in a sense (hence, the cheating). It's really complicated, but I do agree that I hate that they are enabling cheating (worse, think that it's kind of "sexy"), but still, I can't drop this because I love their chemistry and tension.
