I don't really get involved in comments either, and I 100% get what you're saying, and I agree. There's a lot of content in these manga stories that could be portrayed, used, incorporated more effectively than just toxicity and abuse.

I will state, however, your use of caps, curses and targeting those who to reply to you isn't helping you make your point. I have been reading these "kinds of stories" since my teen years, because they make me feel better. While I'm reading, I feel a form of relief from my trauma. "At least there are worse things to suffer than I have been through. I can keep going and deal with my baggage. It could always be worse."

Art is a form of expression and is subject to everyone's point of view. One man's trash is another man's treasure, etcetera. I've always thought my stories would be very dark if I were to write, and most would consider them trash. But it would be a way of voicing my feelings, experience, and pain. I'm okay with people hating the story or thinking it's wrong and perverse when that happens. I would not be fine with someone using my form of self-expression to make other people feel like shit.

So, in summary, your viewpoint that the story is trash is valid. If you feel people are monsters for reading that, the feeling is valid for you. But that doesn't mean it's okay to ever put people down or hurt their feelings if their actions don't harm you or others.

Not excusing it but I can also differentiate between fiction and reality, if you can't handle heavy topics don't search for it. Actively avoid it, you can't get mad over a story you aren't being forced to read. No one is forcing you to interact with dark stories.
