It's been forever since I've read the Manhua, so I'll just tell you what i know from the novels. In the novel, we're lead to believe JC got captured by Qishan Wen because he tried to go back and reclaim his parents' corpses (or just seek revenge? I forget which version is in the novels lol)

But near the very end of the novel, we find out JC actually got captured because he saw WWX was about to be found by Qishan Wen cultivators and he tried to lead them away but was caught.
Again i have no idea how it is in the Manhua since I've only read the Seven seas releases recently and I noticed they left out a lot of stuff in the first volume that was in the novel but IDK if that's the case for the unofficial translation too.
ohh ok thx. it's just that in the manhua, it only showed WWX and JC getting in a scuffle after the parents died, WWX losing consciousness, and after he woke up, JC was apparently captured. so i was confused if i missed it or smth.
i got a question for novel readers, did the manhua change the scene of how jiangchi was captured by the wen clan mentioned in ch 110 in the novel, or did they just skip over it in the manhua. or is my memory just bad
