He's in high school that is definitely not too young to have basic empathy
grief makes the brain work in mysterious ways. i don't think its like a moral failure for a high school kid to lash out the way he did, obviously he deserves the response he got, but when you're in the throws of grief sometimes you say things you wouldn't necessarily say when you're more stable
that's right, I wasn't suggesting that wasn't the case but my point was that both he and his sister suffered trauma and he was acting inconsiderately

man i know hes just a kid and horrible shit happened to him but he definitely deserved to get his ass beat for saying she should have died with their parents
