I don’t have second male lead syndrome. I don’t even like him. I just am annoyed that the author insists on making him some heartbroken, lovesick fool. I do not enjoy seeing his pathetic appearance. I wish the author would allow him to thrive beyond the FL.
lol and did I ever say that? I don’t recall. The authors make these men suffer. I am not talking about the female lead at all in this instance. I don’t care that she rejected him. I care that I have to see a man mope and whine and cry about how he loves her so much and he can’t move on. It’s just annoying. I don’t know why authors insist on making second male leads if all they want is for them to suffer/never end up with someone else after loving FL. They are a useless, annoying, addition.
