A bit of both probably. Exculding the murderous laywer all of these characters are familiar in a way although they seem a bit exaggerated. For instance her friend reminds me of someone I knew in highschool. She lived off of drama and I hung out with her sometimes due to a mutual friend. I saw her a lot junior high but I started to see less of her in highschool. Our junior year she stopped me in the hallway to tell me she was having sex with a senior. She was so thrilled to tell me.I was surprised and then confused I said isn't he dating so and so. And she said "So what? I dont care".

I had a gaslighting mom, a pedophile for a dad and psychopath of a little brother and emotionally manipulative old brother for a family wonder what it feels like to have NONE of that?!
My mom is a single parent and that is hard on her in return she is hard on me and does nothing to make it easy on both of us and the people around are very proactive in taking advanatge. All of the things you mentioned about your family . I have the same kinds of people around me . Really hard to find good in people and be positive about the future
Man we really are strong as fuck for going through what we've gone through and still finding a the will to live and not going absolutely ballistic on people....it would be be nice to not have to have my guard up and fully trust in humanity but humanity has failed at nurturing us properly for real and I dont see a necessary hope in it anymore...
I don't know if everything here is exaggerated for the storytelling or I just live in a healthy environment/family that all those situations seems too absurd for me lol
For now the only somewhat believable situation was the sexual harassing teacher, ironic lol
