A little unrelated but, was I the only one who thought of a flower when Inseop said that? I thought Inseop likening Kijeong to a flower(saying how she looks fragile yet is strong at the same time) was basically the author'a way of dropping hints(or atp affirming) about what Kijeong means to Inseop. Just like the flower Inseop obsessed over when he was a kid, so much so to that he violently killed the caterpillar which tried to "take" "his" flower, Kijeong is also what he considers "his" flower and all the pests around her are the "caterpillars".
I mean, from the way Inseop is killing everyone around her, this was already obvious since he did the same thing with all the other people who "got in the way" of him possessing his treasures, but I still feel like the quote from Inseong in ch 30 was a nice detail to add that further confirms the Kijeong's worth to Inseop.
“You, Ms Go, you look so fragile, like even raindrops could tear you apart…and yet, you also seem like someone who would never break. It’s beautiful.”
GUYS WE ARE SO THERE
also fuck everyone else, I wish the detective would stop focusing on our lawyer warrior and solve the real problem: CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE!!!! Save the kid, not the lawyer you mofo. I really really hope the detective catches wind of this somehow and throws that disgusting pig in jail. I’m sure I don’t have to tell you what happens to pedophiles in prison….
