I really thought it is some wholesome BL after seeing soo many positive review about this manhwa over 5 years but damn I am disappointed. Some reader would be offended but still gonna say "This manhwa subtly glorified rape/nonconsensual sex.

After like two chapters author glossed over that noncon sex. No matter how Sungyeon treated Hosik it doesn’t change that he had sex with Hosik when he was clearly drunk and said " NO" multiple times during that sex. And what after that? He could have said sorry but no he acted pitiful and locked Hosik and forced him to give him blowjob when Hosik was uncomfortable. This whole thing doesn’t seat right with me.

Author shouldn’t have glossed over this whole thing and went with try hard wholesome settings. I know this is a fictional and nothing to do with real life but it shows how a person think and how the people who reading thinking by saying this is a wholesome manhwa without pointing out the flows. I am Genuinely concerned.

I have to agree with you, even to the end, there was no apology to Hosik, it was treated as a great love story, but what about everything that happened to Hosik? The r word? I cannot help but compare the story to Low Tide on the Twilight where both stories start with forced sex, but one you have top truly apologize and expresing his regreat for everything that he did to the bottom that their love feels genuine, while this one feels like Hosik just gave up and accepted his fate.

Exactly and In low tide, Uke was nowhere being manipulated and Seme after realizing did his best to apologize and Uke choose him after that. But in Hosik case, Sungyeon used Hosik's gullible nature to manipulate him in the relationship without even giving him the chance to accept him.
If you look more deeply, he just raped Hosik because he was afraid Hosik won't accept him and tried blackmail him. And when after he knew Hosik was pregnant he basically locked him up mentally. And what is with the constant stalking, breaking in other's house, tracking him without consent. Why even anyone see wholesome in this manhwa is Beyond me.

Eh low tide has the uke gets hurt and kidnapped, meanwhile Hosik got pampered every single day, it's not apple to apple

Yeah, but at least the law tide top grows and it ends up with the uke being pampered and getting an apology for everything that happened to him (you know, a redemption arc), while Hosik never gets an apology for everything that happened to him. To the end, the top acts like he did nothing to Hosik while he keeps on looking Hosik up in that house.
