Ur right actually. But the main reason was cause nain hated all the human sacrifices they were doing but the ML wants him to get used to it. But it started causing nain to go into depression n have suicidal thoughts. Nain also tried to run away from him multiple times. So the sacrifice was the make him forget n preserve his mind ╮(￣▽￣)╭
