Their relationship got sealed the moment Xixi told Jian Yi “is romance the only kind of relationship there has to be?” When he drew them both together holding the same umbrella at the school gym. That’s when it was sealed as an asexual relationship. Jian Yi probably wants to have sex. But he prefers to stay together with Xixi for the rest of his life in an asexual relationship rather than force himself on him and lose him forever.
