It’s probably cause haribo isn’t the author of this story. Haribo is the one who usually makes the art and story for At the end of the road, mad dog, and my refuge. Looks like they’re working as an artist for this story, and the actual other here is Saja. Who wrote Error detected and some other anthology stories.
and... I'm sad. I fucking love this author, I don't know how many times I've reread her other works. But "army porn with rape to tame an arrogant fool" is a genre that is super-offensive to see from an author who knows how to do cool psychology. It's like forcing Michelangelo to paint the walls one color. Such abilities and into what?
