It typically like that with "since childhood" antagonists, I never fully hate them bc ik they wouldn't act like this if they were only raised better, I'll always blame the adult in the scenario
Yeah, compared to how ballsack was as a kid, he had a chance at redemption. In situations like this, I like to think that in another life, someone reincarnates and guides him to be a good person and he’s the new ml in the story.

Even though the first prince is an ass, I still feel a bit sorry for him. When he was younger, he always seemed hesitant about things, if he had a different mother (father as well), then most likely things wouldve been different for him.
But still doesn’t justify his actions now, just saying his upbringing couldve been better
