Most people are here only for the romance, so when the story deviate from it and only focus on the political machinations it gets kinda boring, especially because the villains aren't that smart
I like it too! It's interesting to finally have a smart antagonist instead of the usual brainless white lotus
The politics is interesting, but the back and forth panels of, oh I beat you with this! No, haha, you're wrong, I've actually beaten you! Back and forth back and forth is kinda tiring to me. I'd rather have a sit down discussion with less of the shock.png every other argument :')
yeah that's fair, it's definitely not as well done as other webtoons/manga I've read before, though I appreciate the occasional meetings Eve holds with her subordinates. But to call it boring just because there isn't really any romance in the last couple chapters is crazy to me. There's still stuff going on, even romance wise! Slow burn is nice sometimes, and I personally don't think the pace is going too slow.
Am I the only one who finds the political machinations super interesting?? why are so many people saying it's boring?
