Bc Korea only has 30 last names no joke
like genuinely almost all of manhwa yaoi got the tops last name as kwon.
i already knew there wasn't much variation in korean surnames, so it's never been an issue for me to come across the same name for multiple main characters in different manhwa. the only time it DOES bother me at all is when an author for some reason chooses to have multiple characters with the same name, AND one is a main character. i can't remember the title, but i read one where there were three Mr. Lee's; it was difficult at times to figure out who was being talked about even with context clues T - T
