is it common for rape victims or sa survivors to think like taekjoo did? like i “enjoyed it or came” so is it even rape?? even though its just a body response?? because i cant tell if this is being realistic orrrr author is trying to downplay his sa

    It is. A lot of female sa survivors dont report such abuse due to embarrassment or fear of getting judged because they got wet/c*mmed during the act when in fact its just a bodily function, not because they enjoyed it. So for me, i felt like taekjoo felt 100x more disgusted with himself with how his body reacted given that his a man (which also happens in real life).

    For a lot of people the thing that overwhelmes these situations is feeling violated. Some people don’t remember how pleasant something may have been. At least I only remember how violated I felt. And how embarrassed after

    Physically your body will react as it would for any sexual intercourse buttt it’s more emotionally and mentally that you will suffer most from because you didn’t consent so it’s traumatic not something that you enjoyed even if your body reacted. Although not everyone’s bodies react the same in those situations so some don’t even get wet.
