Reading compression went out the window.. he isnt trying to get revenge on a secretary he doesnt even know, ml came back to get what his father abandoned when he got married to his mother. His cousing the one that put the secretary to spy on him, wants him to fail. Ml knows his secretary is a spy but doesnt care much about it.
Nope, I think she is talking in the first chapters he clearly states that he wants vengeance cause he learned that his cousin took away the most precious thing from him. AKA his lover.
And he say it was in the state after the event to forget about the past and then he learned it wasn't the grandpa who did it but the cousin

in the first chapter or first few, they established a character that would be willing to get revenge for his partner, which means he’s not over her at all. so like him being all blushy over mc’s unintended action was iffy, was it something his past lover had done or smth?? but like i was sleep deprived when i was reading this so maybe my ick was a bit too strong. but a character like that would link everything back to their lover,i guess i was hoping for angst or smth
Same, like I think he fell in love so fast and for nothing. And since the beginning we didn't have any mention or just a sentence sometimes about his ex lover
