Right. Ian is giving him yet another chance he doesn't really deserve. If he doesn't take this one, he shouldn't get anymore. I can't believe he didn't even seem to consider it an option. You would think he would at least ponder for a second what life outside of that gang might be like, or to think about it simply because it's what Ian wants WITH him. I just don't have faith in him. But I am glad you read the story and aren't just stuck on a bias. We can love them and admit they are assholes, especially characters in a story. I mean I loved Seungho big time, was team Yahwi, and currently root for that asshat Jaekyung's redemption/yearning arc lol, among others. We all love a toxic guy sometimes because they are entertaining, exciting, and I hate to say it in TJ land, but also "passionate" lol. The point is I definitely get his appeal, but he's a selfish jerk just like the others and I don't think he deserves Ian without changing. It's not over yet, he could still prove me wrong, I just doubt it. I don't like how Ian just rolled out on Joe either after pulling him into this stuff, not.on purpose but still. Lots of selfishness going on but they think they are doing the right things. Good story, frustrating, but good.
Right. I've been rooting for them since in the beginning but I could never comprehend how there are people who say TJ deserve better and that Ian doesn't deserve TJ. It just baffles me. He doesn't deserve Ian. He doesn't even deserve this chance and frankly I think he's not gonna be able to do it. He has never shown willingness to get out of the gang. This is the last undeserving chance he gets but I have no faith in his decision.
It's a nail biter. It will be interesting to see where we go from here for all of them.
Tbh I truly believe Ian given up more for TJ. Downvote me but this is my opinion and how I feel maybe I'm wrong or what I don't know.
Yes TJ has done a lot to protect Ian but I don't think he has ever truly given up something that is really important to him or something he truly care so much about. Like the gang for example. He keep having his cake and eating it too.
Him saying it was both of their legacy when Ian never wanted it in the first place. He stayed for 19 years because he love TJ and saying how ofc Ian doesn't care cus he left it.
Jason try to make Ian leave and guess what happened. TJ sent people to sabotage Ian. Preventing him from leaving the gang and Ian forgave him. Ian doesn't have the same ambition that TJ does but he forgive TJ for what he did and stayed by his side despite it destroying his mental health all because he love TJ. TJ has sabotage Ian career. Put him in prison. Tied him to debt to make him stay a little bit longer. Never once said it out loud that he love Ian and keep on loving him behind close door while he sleep with other women but get jealous when Ian does it. ( Let's all be real. We all know TJ is the one who started sleeping with other people first.)Ian has given up what he has to be with TJ. But TJ only had to give up what I feel is minimal things to him and thinking that what he is doing is for Ian sake as well but It was never something truly selfless but it was to keep Ian by his side for as long as he can.
And I for real thought that he meant to change to figure the situation about gang and leave so they can start a new but man was I wrong. He want to keep his legacy while still being with Ian.
