Prefacing this with I have not read this. Now for the rest of the people who weren’t filtered out.
Sometimes it feels like you people are so obsessed with consuming yaoi content that it’s like those people in idiocracy who sit and watch tv all day lol. This author has previously written fucked up stories, with more rape than plot, and has clearly settled in their niche. So at what point will the crowd that hates SA in stories (which look! valid!!) start filtering out what they read?? Like do u just go through and expect every story to be perfectly in line with what you want lmaooo “oh no i read the leopards eating people story and people got eaten by leopards!!!”
I see valid criticisms of stories that try and paint themselves as some ultimate romance while brushing SA under the rug. But also, shounen ai tags are there for a reason. So many people cry about yaois tagged ‘smut, mature, horror, adult’ having rape in it like it’s this sudden spontaneous thing that came out of no where. So many people are fine with extreme bullying and violence and expect that, then they’re pearl clutching when a story like that has SA scenes???
Just stop reading or hate read the story just the criticism of ‘wow this is only XYZ’ is getting so stale. Like alright cool. I didn’t continue to read this because the first few chapters were completely expressionless, the sound fx were nonexistent and it felt like every panel was just filler until the rape scenes. Not my cup of tea! I’m not gonna waste my time anticipating each new chapter for something new only to get mad every time, just move on
Hate watchers and genuine fans know what they’re getting with each chapter. It’s just crazy to me how someone who dislikes the themes that are going to show up in a story, keep having the surprised pikachu face then flood the comments with ‘I can’t believe this is in here!!!’
