I dont think Passion is something you recommend at all? It’s not smth fluff and it has tons of triggering contents. It’s something I would only recommend to someone who doesn’t mind reading dark-themed stories and has a high tolerance when it comes to content warnings.
I think most Passion fans are novel readers like me. The novel is definitely way better than the manhwa adaptation (and the author seems knowledgeable about military/political stuff). Passion is kinda slow-paced, even the romance (theres also this messy love triangle going on at first that might turn off new readers) and it’s heavy on military stuff. But the plot progresses so much in the later chapters (the seringe arc) and it’s gonna be action-packed next season (which is probably the finale). Also passion is like, the first book out of four novels. And personally, I find book 2 and 3 better than Passion plot-wise (they will also have manhwa adaptation)
Why do people like this? Not a trick question, not a hateful question but I genuinely want to know. There doesn't seem to be any coherent plot? What is even the story about? The art is great for sure but aside from how sexy Ilay is drawn what else is good about Passion? What would you say if you wanted to recommend it to a friend?
