He doesnt really want her back tho like he just wanted to confirm things with her since they didnt get to part well and there was this misunderstanding alll this time but the person he's truly loved is horus. Tbh poor horus misunderstood that he was breaking up with him even tho seth kept saying we'll will talk abt this later. He wasnt as affected by horus hiding nephtys in mirror info as much as he was affected by the possibility that horus' love for him is fake. That devasted the shi out of him and what do ppl do when they feel betrayed ? They run to what guaranteed comfort and nostalgia what guaranteed emotional safety. Wanting to leave was his way of running away from this heartbreak tbh if u remember his marriage with nephyths was a sham orchestrated by osiris to leash seth n seth obv had a happy marriage life despite the things.. but deep down it was bound to ne doomed. Neph never loved him for his true self neither did he who's soul has been broken n repaired repeatedly by osiris n nephyths. Yes horus was wrong for this. His immaturity n rushed actions think later behavior regarding seth was gonna turn this way sooner or later. N him hiding a crucial info because of insecurities n fear of abandonment was Like a ticking time bomb. He didn't stop to think abt when seth said they'd need to talk later abt this but i feel bad for him. It was only recently that they got together n seth is a big tusndere even tho he's super emotional and horus knows him best out of everyone. He knew even if seth loved him there was a possibility that he'd want to go back to neph n try to make things right with her out of guilt and atonement since he had her locked up for helping isis in escaping. Horus knows seth is a man of his honor and loyalty and doing right by duty Is how he is. Even tho he hated wars n killings he maintained his duties as protector of egypt so it wasnt not impossible to think that he'd want them to go back to how they were [ofc seth wasnt thinking that horus assumed by himself] but sadly they haven't spent much time together n horus believes he is secondary option to seth and seths urgency solidified that belief even more driving him irrational n hasty. But luckily what needed to happen happened and we can overcome the turbulent storm n expect character development n alot of regrets hehe
Nephthys isn't trapped in the mirror anymore: we were shown she's no longer there in a flashback in chapter 193 (Horus remembers how, when he fulfilled his new promise to her, and went back inside the mirror to talk with her, only to fail to find her anywhere, he ended up wondering if the mirror Nephthys had finally faded away while he was gone, since she was only a memory and not a real person)
