I mean the villain seemd to have mind control or something. He might have messed up their memories
Mc got kidnapped, One of the villain have time to split dimensions (like teleport) and then it goes wrong and he send mc to the past and that's how mc met ml when ml was a kid. ML is blind and at the time he didn't learn to use his power to create visuals yet so he didn't know how space look like. And MC didn't tell his name because he's afraid of changing the future because it can bring catastrophe
