Yah bc it's rather him or tj being killed, ian isn't that cruel to let tj be the only one bearing the burden, the point he said "not like we used to" meaning just don't do gang shit. Ian looking at the hat, ofc want to avoid dragging Jo into danger obviously.
The gang shit is all TJ has lived about. His whole life for that.
It makes sense he doesnt know how else to live. And honestly Ian hasnt been very trustworthy to leave all behind and go with him. He can change his mind any minute.
Look,i have no doubts he loves TJ, its just that might not be enough. He needs to understand him too.
He would need to make him feel that secure.
So im just happy he at least said that. Say what u want. It was him to suggest leaving together and forget it all.
He loves TJ and he has been the only reason he cant start over. He cant leave him.
But its all so messed up. His timing is horrible.
He wants him to forget everything just like that? I hate that TJ cant do that. I hope he can see what truly matters to him.
And what has made him miserable.
I wish they could just leave and just communicate. Damn one “ i love you” would help.
