My criticism was always about the character’s abusive, manipulative behavior, not the artist or the fans. I respect Mingwa’s work, but being a fan doesn’t mean I have to excuse or like a red flag, abusive character. Responding to aggression with the same energy is not the same as attacking the fandom or the artist it’s defending myself after being insulted. You claim this is ‘serious’ because of fandom etiquette and because artists and fans are real, yet you ignore the fact that the person who insulted me first with slurs got a free pass. Respect works both ways. I didn’t go out of my way to be unkind to anyone I responded to aggression. Criticizing a fictional character isn’t hating on an artist, and it isn’t entitlement it’s a valid reaction.
