Can you elaborate because I fail to see how sabotaging a party unrelated to her strife would relieve it

OP isn't saying that's what the Dutchess SHOULD do, just what they would have done in her position. "you won't acknowledge all my skills and effort, then fine; go eff yourselves and see how well you do w/o me". I don't believe they were suggesting that the Dutchess was in the right in any way to go after baby MC, just sympathizing w/ the desire to lash out and possibly bring down a whole system that seems stacked against her.
I think personally it's her personality that is the problem, it is twisted no matter who you slice it, after all if your first thought is to kill a child in order for you to be acknowledged, there is a special place in hell for you. If you look at what she has mange to accomplish in her life time, her work and skills are praise worthy and will be written as praise worthy, especially if she manages to not let all this thing slow her down (which she isn't) currently her legacy is tainted, she will be seen as the person who wanted to kill a child so that some people beneath her will acknowledge her, when in reality the people that she should be looking at (her family and the four lord) already acknowledge her.
she is her won enemy at this point and nothing she can do, will prove to me that she is capable enough and it will show in the future with her children, perpetuating a cycle of emotional abuse which, she started her father was wrong and her environment was not the most supportive but at some point it stops being your environments fault, it is now her actions that have lead to her being untrust worthy among the 4 lords, the ones who she should be looking at for approval, her peer, and if she is not careful her family line may be completely removed form the 4 lords.
I get that part but why didn't she retaliate against the father son duo that has obvious contempt against rather than the other two lords that couldn't be bothered by anyone.
She has the skills and the ruthlessness to do it

I wholeheartedly agree! Innocent people should not be involved, that includes her own family who clearly loves her.
... although I can't accept using our baby mc for her revenge but I think I understand her side. If it's me, if people continue to look down on me, won't acknowledge my achievements despite using my own mana and life on the line.
