Abuse as in remember that one scene in s1 where he tortures anubis for helping horus during the battles ? Anubis whole existence is because osiris conceived him just to be harvested as vessel body to house the soul osiris wanted to make with seth as their *baby* and he was almost successful in doing that cuz of the way anubis was broken mentally due to seths constant.abuse. we see a glimpse of thst when seth makes anubis fight women n elderly for his amusement even tho anubis doesn't want to. Seth's tyranny towards ppl his mother and anubis drove him to the point of suicide where he jumps in nile and thats how osiris snatches him to duat n forces abnormal acension upon him as one of the gods under duat's rule. And even as a god now osiris is using him to bear parts of the Ba curse thats suppose to be experienced by seth. Seth wouldve never harmed anubis under any normal circumstances but even if everything was osiris's fault he still did it.. poor seth poor anubis :(

Osiris snatched Anubis from the river at that time, yes, but it wasn't then that he forced Anubis' ascension as a god (that happened much later).
Right then, when Anubis killed himself and went to Duat, Osiris only "comforted" Anubis (fed him lies) and then sent him back to the world of living, by giving him that Flower of Life that kept Anubis alive, so that so that Anubis could orchestate with Isis and Horus the summon of the Ennead, to finally put an end to Seth's tiranny (like we said before, Osiris explains in chap. 34 he only did it because he felt he owed Isis a chance at revenge).
After that, from the moment Osiris sent Anubis back to the world of the living, that one time, Osiris kept using the Flower of Life inside Anubis (and by which Osiris had restored Anubis' life) as a connection between himself and Anubis, that allowed Osiris to possess Anubis' body, and take him over whenever he wanted, in order for Osiris to be temporarily able to cross to the world of the living (which he could not do, otherwise), for brief lapses of time. Osiris did this for the first time in the story at the end of chapter 6 (when he appeared in front of the other gods sin order to "testify against Seth", leaving Anubis' body only by the end of chapter 10) and then again at the end of chapter 34 (when he got jealous of Seth's SA by Horus and took over Anubis once more, in order to show up and try to take Seth back with him to Duat. Since Seth resisted, Osiris resorted to provoking Seth to cut "his" arm with the cursed sword, and that was the time Seth unwittingly ended up cursing Anubis' arm with the curse he had prepared for *Osiris*... After he succeeded in tricking Seth like that, Osiris left Anubis' body again in chapter 37). Lastly, in chapter 69, when Anubis sneaks into Seth's trial and hears that Osiris is his real father, that was when Osiris last used his connection with Anubis through the Flower of Life inside Anubis, in order to erase Anubis' memories and force him to become a god, and kidnapping Anubis in the process.

Back then, Seth was batshit was crazy (he has already admitted it). So, while I support Nephthys accepting Seth back "as a friend/brother", I don't support her accepting him back as a romantic partner and husband, and just going back to "playing house" with him again, after what he did. There are some things that not even romantic love should induce a woman into forgiving... and her partner dealing downright abuse on her child should be one of them (I HATE women who choose DI---- even over their own children)
Wth Seth, how could you do this to my baby Horus
