Koi, his omega father asked Ashley to go see Chase, but it doesn't go into detail, it's only mentioned that Koi told him he was sorry that his bird died, but Chase didn't react. The manhwa adaption left that out, it should have been in this chapter.
There is more in the parents story, it resulted in getting Chase that role in that chocolate commercial.
