Utou may have loved Karasuma but they were not meant to be together. Utou is a good friend, he tried to protect Miyabi as he could but he also watched Miyabi self-destruct, letting himself be exploited by others. That's why he apologizes here. He never gave Miyabi the urge to stop it, or to feel unique for someone. Unlike Takaba who didn't bear Miyabi's choice of life, but who admired him for the strength to undergo all of this by choice. He gave him the value that no one ever gave him. Takaba treasure Miyabi. Utou is going to be for Sumi what Takaba is for Karasuma. So no, Karasuma didn't taint him to only break him.He has always been honest with Utou.

I LIKE uTou his character is nice that he is trying to make his own destiny and find a pair that would just love him not for gain but for him. Mad cus he fell for his friend in the past and he had to taint utou to only break him . i mean utou wasnt in love at first but the more he did it the more in love he became still im happy this new recruite is pushing all the right buttons but i hope they dont make him to much like the other since they already looks slightly similar in character /hair still i see differences which is good very good
