There's a difference between liking to draw a couple more than the other and completely making absolutely no progress with the first couple and just focusing mainly on the second couple that weren't even the main attraction at the start of the story. To my understanding, I think it has more to do with the anti lgbtq policies in china. Old xian literally just cannot explicitly confirm their relationship so that may be the reason why they're trying to focus more on momo and He tian's dynamic since xixi and jianyi's lore is quite pass that. That's literally why Tamen de gushi was discontinued because the author refused to put censorship and it was too much of a complicated process to find international publisher (atleast that's what I've heard) and even if that's not the case, old xian has every right to put whatever tf they want in their manhua. "It's not fair to the other couple" they're fictional characters bro ay just saying, lets enjoy the very lil crumbs we get yk there's literally a draught in here and y'all still complainingggg(sorry for the yap holy sh)
The censorship has nothing to do with it. He Tian and Momo's interactions are very flirtatious eventhough they're not a "confirmed" couple. It's on a totally different level than XiXi and Jian Yi's relationship. I doesn't matter if it's fictional, IT'S UNFAIR to the readers who have been here from the beginning. They were the first couple to be introduced and there has been no progression while the second couple has gotten more screen time and progression. We're still enjoying the manhua but it's just disappointing they are being put on the back burner for no reason.

Well, there are ppl who have actually put money into it, so yh, it is kind of unfair to see a couple that’s been there since the beginning still having no progress, while the couple that was introduced later has already kissed. I fear that if you’ve been reading a manhua for a decade and invested your time and money into it, you have the right to be disappointed that your favorite couple is still in the friend stage or hasn’t even touched the topic of a relationship. God forbid a reader wants to see their favorite characters and couple after getting so little content of them.
