None of them is sane, Chase is just the least insane, because he manifested late and barely managed to avoid getting brain damage. Alone being a dominant alpha makes you a psychopaths. But the Miller family is even in universe notorious for being crazy.

Nothing is sane about them except Chase. Even their father and Grandfather, lol. Side story Joshua actually fits the Millers more than Chase except he was raised to be a decent human being but his urges to lock up Chase for himself is definitely something else (they are very cute and stayed green).
