I love how he's so responsible there are sooo many childhood friend tropes where the top is younger and always act like a child and is oblivious to everything even when they grow up but this ml actually acts his age of how someone in their younger 20s acts when they are no bs he reminds me of an older sibling type so I love this depiction of him being like "no hyung I'll deal with it it's my problem, don't worry."
yesssss exactly!! what is explained about the younger top is what i dislike about those tropes. it's really not my cup of tea and i feel like most of those stories make the younger guy so annoying . But this guy is great and actually behaves like how someone his age would/should in reality. i am very hopeful about this dynamics going on between the two. looking forward to more of this!
This story has so many tropes i despise yet I can't help but love this one (so far at least).
I don't like the "i liked someone way older since i was young" tropes. BUT THIS ONE! i genuinely think it's been done so well. I like how the younger seme handles things. I like that this is humourous. I like how the older uke is not all broody with him. I like how they communicate. I like how they are clearly attracted to eachother and it's not all drama between them.
(yes that friend pmo but eh i am ignoring him)
I am just really surprised how much i love the way this trope was written and handled here. I am sold!
