She’s just like a narrator atp. I think this series will go on for maybe another 150+ eps, maybe even more eps. I don’t think she’s a character to have really short character development like Thaddeus. Thaddeus’s story was resolved in a couple eps but I think that Yuna is gonna develop over the seasons and maybe until the end. I think this is the correct route for her character honestly. She’s not strong enough so physically she can’t even handle the fights Peter handles. She’s tried before and she knows it will fail. She isn’t a damsel in distress she’s just weak and if she tried she would be killed. She’s not a prodigy, YET. I really hope that she develops into one though.

I’m not asking for drastic power-ups or for her to become a prodigy that can fight disciples, just more signs of growth. Peter gave her a weapon to make up for her lack of strength, so it feels natural to expect at least one proper fight where she holds her ground ALONE even if she lose/get hurt.
Also the only times she’s really had focus were the monkey-like enemy fight(where she fought a little bit and was exciting as it show some developments but then focused on the brothers again) and her ice training scene. I really love her character because of the potential and wish there were more scene for her. Instead, even when the disciple was training them the focus was only on the brothers, when that would’ve been the perfect chance to also show how Yuna is guided by someone powerful to adapts and improve.
While I understand the “narrator” role, that alone doesn’t make her character feel well-written. Yes, it’s only season 1, and bigger development can come later, but sprinkling MORE glimpse where she shows her knowledge, improvisation, or growth rather than focusing on her just watching everyone fight would make her feel like she’s on the path even if slow instead of stuck in almost the same role from the beggining.
ISTG the author is turning Yuna into an annoying, idiotic damsel . I was really hoping for actual character development from someone weak but insightful in analyzing fights into a fighter who, even with a weaker physique, could strategize and master her weapon. Instead, every single fucking time she ends up needing to be saved by the brothers that completely undermines her potential.
Just give her a moment where she’s forced to fight on her own and show growth in combat and independence. She’s been stuck in this same role since the very beginning of the story, with no real development, and it honestly feels like her potential is being completely wasted.
