I mean. I’m not trying to be mean or anything, but both these comments below are yours. You’re not really interested in conventional top and bottom, or what seems to be that. So of course Dear door is not for you; which is fine. I was just stating MY opinion. It’s okay to disagree, that’s what the thumbs down bottom is for. It’s what I felt. And due to your narrow mindset, majority of BL is out for you anyways. But that’s your preference, and it’s fine.
You didn’t need to add a comment under here you know.

BL nowadays is very poorly written in my standards

I initially enjoyed reading BL because its free of the gender standards in shoujo. There wasn’t that unfair power dynamic. But all the BL I see on here nowadays you can tell at a glance who the top is and who the bottom is and they act exactly like their position (seme acts masculine and ukr acts feminine). Im starting to get back into shoujo because I love genuine romance where both people can be themselves and have a personality like with haruhi and tamaki or nozaki and chiyo. Regardless I still love BL and would love if someone could recommend me BL with either no positions (no determined top or bottom) or a BL with fleshed out characters who’s positions are not obvious. I moved to shounen ai because of this absolute top nonsense I kept seeing but its even in shounen ai now

Any good bl with no submissive uke or dominant seme. Not only is it super cringe, it’s just not entertaining to see two people being dumb. I prefer bl which feel more like a love stpry and the characters have morals :D Preferably no heavy gender roles
Yah know. Back when this just started. There were none like it, hot stuff if you will. Now, there are so many more, and better too, that this no longer makes me foam at the mouth when I see updates. It’s still a good one, but it’s dropped in leagues for me when I have so many more options and better art and story.
Let me put you guys on a good Yaoi for those who’ve never seen it. It’s so good, that I honestly think everyone’s read it, but for the poor soul(s) that have never; well, I’m jealous, and wish I could’ve you reading with new eyes.
The name is: Dear Door.
