Basically Dennis represents the lamb it’s innocent, trusting and pure, then there’s Todd he’s the coyote who preyed on Dennis and manipulated him. Ultimately innocent Dennis trusted Todd even tho he knew in the back of his mind that he shouldn’t, and it leads to his demise
But like is Todd even human?

The plot is Dennis being tested by God. His story parallels the one with Even and the garden of Eden.
The test is choice between obedience to God or self willed desire.
