Exactly! That's why I'm just sitting here wondering how the f they ended up they way they did and also I can't even blame Haesoo for wanting that relationship to work.
Take this with great assault, it's just my speculation. I don't remember if anything in the book can support my claims but I believe since both of them were forced to leave high school then the ex-husband got tangled up with loan sharks and then his wife couldn't seem to get pregnant. He started blaming her for their shortcomings. It was all her fault that kind of vibe. It usually what mentally weak people do when their life isn't going as planned. They blame any other person but themselves.
Oh yeah, I definitely got the vibe that he blamed her for them being childless, but I'm just waiting to see what happened in their backstory since I fint that part of the story more interesting than her relationship with Taeha ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I know we don't like Mincheol (I also don't like him), but I do find it interesting to see his and Haesoo backstory. Like how did they get to this point compared to how in love they were in their youth.
Like all the flashbacks has just showed how caring and in love Mincheol were with Haesoo, and seeing that I understand why she had such a hard time with just letting go of their marriage and everything they had.
