I would say that mc is just a straightforward guy who sees ml coming at him actively, but with mixing some weird fetish things in and I guess his instincts tells him something is off and that's angers him. What are all the evil things boss is doing? He has sex with him amd has this punishment for ML if he orgasms without permission. He pumps him full of drugs.
