Yeah, that's why he needs Shinya to talk some sense to him. But, as it is now, Shinya can't do it because he's still confused and Guren refusing to tell him anything. Though it is understandable (because once there's some hints, I believe Shinya and Guren's squad will understand what's going on, they're smart like that) I find it frustrating. Because then, when (if) guren have a foolish plan, nobody can talk some sense to him.
