No. It's not acceptable to like a character who is mentally unstable JUST because they are fictional. That's the kind of excuse that is all too often used to victim blame someone. However, even IF he was a real person I would STILL like him. People with mental illness do deserve love, and yes I know they are most likely to be the victim of a crime instead of the perps. But I'm talking about the people who glorify mental illness. For example the manga killing stalking. The comments on that manga disgust me to no end. " daddy sangwoo can kidnap me anytime." I'm talking about how people excuse the actions of a mentally unstable person(s) just because they are physically attractive. Sorry if I offended you but people who see it and fetishize and are really not helping. Especially someone like me who have periods of insanity where I blank out and have no control over myself, I wouldn't want someone to treat me like I'm fucking crazy innocent just cause I'm mildly attractive.
