But the way the MC died is quite different (?)
Because in Garden of Roses (the 1st life), there's no happy family at all
But in the novel I talk about have an appearance of happy family at least in the mind of the ML and their childs
Even if the ML had begged for forgiveness back then (in the 1st life), it would’ve been useless. The MC was too broken to ever fully recover.
I once read a novel where the MC did forgive the ML and they even had two children together. But even when the MC eventually died after the second child came of age, he still hadn’t healed from the pain the ML caused. In his drawings of a family, he never included himself
