It's kinda implied that the He family is a whole mafia, along with Jian Yi's father side of the family. (In earlier chapters you can see that He Cheng works for Jian Yi's grandfather)
so in short the HE family is more likely an underlings to Jian Yi's grandpa?!
I don't think the entire He family, since He Tian's father is still alive and is probably the head of their own... clan? Family? I don't know what they would be called exactly, but his father still bosses He Cheng around, and probably has him work for Jian Yi's grandfather.
It's just my theory though, Old_xian didn't dive into that lore of the story that much. (Which is a bummer, since he showed Mo's father having a connection with a mafia too, and left it right there.)
ikr wish they explained what is they're connection especially the episode when he tian was little & was almost sort like drowning in the sea?! forgotten what episode it was tho
