I dont think thats the authors intent. Backstories are important for reappearing characters, even if they are trash. It keeps the story flowing and gives us A LOT of insight of the kind of person Michaeol was before he turned horrible and what exactly turned him. It makes the story more entertaining, not a ploy to collect sympathy points.

just because you are shallow and have no depth of character, doesnt mean authors cant give their own characters a bit of depth, and its the most interesting bit of this story. only part that actually has some feel to it

Girl just because you like reading flashbacks about a cheating psychotic narcissist due to your shitass taste doesn't mean they're good, it just means your taste sucks. Maybe do better. For NORMAL people, consistently seeing this cheater on the screen for 95% of the chapter we wait for a week everytime, we'd want to see some PROGRESS. So no, seeing a cheater's ass sucking off his mistress and his "sob story" ahh flashback does NOT make it look interesting, it's dragging the story out but hey, maybe you're just too blind to see it, clearly from the statement. its crazy how you say 'no depth of character ' when all you're into is seeing mincheol's cheater ass, like girl. Makes sense ngl I'd agree, the only problem I have is 95% of The chapter dedicated to how he was a green flag earlier does not make sense. Like the story in itself keeps dragging out and we have more info and screentime for mincheol rather than the actual main character. That's fucking weird
