I think she means its ridiculous for someone to have that train of thought in the first place. it just makes no sense and it makes a character sound dumb and little less likeable for playing in everyone's face
ditto with the other guy but we as readers know the mc and ml will get together, its annoying when said MC actively pursues their ML and then turns around and goes "this wont work out when such and such comes" or "ML will end up hating me smth smth" its soo tired
I hate stories like these where the mc KNOWS the main character will end up with someone else but still do couple thing with them thinking “when the main character comes i will leave” like tf? Either don’t get involved with the main character or have guts to see it through. Why are you toying with people
