Well, practically speaking, when Arrie became a dream watcher named Aryka, he also became Yoen in a way, since Yoen shared his soul with him. So, Aryka is a combination of his own soul and Yoen’s soul.
And I think if it turned out that way, it would end up as tragic since Aryka (that you hope was Yoen) is already dead and immortal.
But I kind of get your point. For me, it just feels too sudden for Vince to fully like Arrie when his feelings for Yoen were too strong to be easily forgotten. Maybe his guilt was greater than his feelings for Yoen, which made it easier for him to let go, especially since his growing feelings for Yoen were cut short. I just wish they had extended Vince and Aryka’s moments a bit more before revealing that they actually had a past connection.
As for Arrie, he died liking Vince and was then partnered with him, someone he already had a past connection with, as Aryka. That makes it understandable why he fell for Vince so quickly.
And to be honest, I kinda ship Xan and Aryka

everything is perfect but I really just think Vince and yoen had better chemistry than with arrie tbh... don't come for me but personally I think aryka being yoen would've made more sense, maybe it wouldn't have been as unique but those two bro
