Jeanettes biological dad isnt claude.. its anastacius (claude’s brother) and yes people know who jeanettes real mom is, no claude was not a manwhore when he started seeing diana it was only something that briefly happened after he ascended the throne. No they arent the aame age, Jeanette is a year older or Athy was a year older than jeanette idk, No claude didnt sleep with Jeanettes mom after he found out that she slept with his brother, After Anastacius died, Jeanettes mom fled and ran away while pregnant with jeanette and gave birth to her shortly.
It appears I did not explain things well enough. I know Claude is not Jeanette’s biological father. I’m just confused as to why no one questioned if that was true when she was first introduced to the public - especially in the flashback story.
I assumed Jeanette was conceived when Claude caught her mom and anastacius in the act. I guess in theory that doesn’t need to be the case…. But that means for Claude to believe Jeanette is biologically his, with no questions asked, he would’ve had to slept with Jeanette’s Mom after he discovered the affair. I guess maybe OG Claude didn’t care but still…. I just don’t get how no one questioned it. The story line doesn’t completely add up.

claude didn't want to touch penelope after witnessing the affair...said affair was not made public probably because it was just three of them who knew about it...so when penelope ran away pregnant, everybody thought the child was claude's...the nobles didn't really question it when it was announced mostly coz of drama...they liked the momentarily instability of the royal family...the author just did not deem to explore that plot hole some more
I could’ve missed this in the webtoon, but are Jeanette and Athy the same age? If so, wouldn’t that mean Claude was sleeping with both of their moms at the same time? I thought they were in love Oh also, Claude for sure knew his brother slept with Jeanette’s mom. Why would he sleep with her again if she did that? Also, I thought Jeanette’s mom was long gone after Claude killed his brother. Things just aren’t adding up for me. I can’t remember if everyone knew who Jeanette’s mom, but no matter what Claude would have had to of been sleeping with multiple women, while with Athy’s mom, if the two girls are the same age. I know they mentioned a harem in the beginning but I didn’t think that was a genuine part of the story. I thought it was apart of the book Athy read in her previous life.
I guess what I’m saying is, wouldn't/shouldn’t everyone know Jeanette isn’t his daughter based on her age or is Claude just a manwhore? lol
