Yep exactly that. Well, Jenny was unstable and peter knew that anyways. I think even though he knew phillip wasn't at fault he felt guilty for jennys death(even though the whole revenge thing was unnecessary and completely stupid on his part) and felt like he needed to get revenge yet he fell for him and even forgave him all the continuous rape and assault(talk about revenge...) so idk man and you're welcome :) (also bonus spoiler, it wasn't exactly revealed we see this only from Peter's pov since Phillip won't tell him anything, but it seems like Philip went to visit people that bullied peter and jenny(probably threatened them or sum) and some came to apologize while others kept bolting away when they see peter)
So, I reached chapter 56 and I need spoilers. Inseob/Peter is apparently trying to expose Phillip for being an asshole (which he is don't get me wrong. And a Psycho), but as for now everything that happened to that Jenny girl was all because of her delusions. Ik ik she was bullied and abused at home, but her loser self literally verbally attacked and insulted poor Inseob/Peter after the party just for trying to bring her back to reality. PLS I need someone to tell me if Phillip is actually at fault in some way, because if not, all of this revenge thing for his stupid friend is bullcrap
