What happened in the novel?
From what i saw, In the novel Cliff stayed in their world, he didnt follow her and he did a 180 turned, he changed for good.
He got very depressed. I wanna say almost 2 suicidal tendencies which made his brother and either come back and basically say “you’re the heir and you have to get your shit together we know it’s not going to be easy but we’re gonna be here for you” and then he offers them the Dukedom and they say no because the people who they’re with now are just as important to them and then he gets better for the most part
Aw I wanted this ending more.. Cliff was just being controlled by the novel's ridiculous rules like "living for the female lead"
Wait so cliff is still the heir in the novel?
